What is actually going on based on the numbers?

Westchester County has always been a premiere destination for homeowners. In my 21 years as a Licensed agent, Westchester has moved better in good markets, and fell much, much less in the downs. In 2024, Westchester County continues to attract new Buyers, Move-up buyers, and Sellers looking to trade down on their bigger homes. As expected, in 2024, the Single-Family home market in Westchester County continues to impress. Despite a large rise of Inventory, you can’t stop the attraction of living in Westchester County. Let me simply break it down below.

  • Inventory: UP 15.7%
  • Median Sale Price: UP 1.2% (seems paltry BUT don’t be fooled. From Mar-Apr it rose 9.7% as Spring season heated up)
  • Pending Contracts: UP 133% ( That’s correct! a tidal wave of Buyers jumping in despite high 6 – low 7 % rates.)
  • Buyer Showings: UNCHANGED at 10.3
    per Listing

When buying a single-family home in Westchester County, you will need a trusted Realtor to connect these dots with you. This data continues to show the always competitive market that requires a strong plan, patience at times, power at others, and an experienced agent as your wingman. Let’s talk.
